Photo
I approach photography as a tool that helps me understand my surroundings critically, attentively, and sensitively. I believe photojournalism is essential to upholding the human right to be informed about current events and the world around us. Above is a collection of photographs I’ve taken professionally for The Daily Californian and various freelance projects, as well as for class and personal exploration.

Pinole Car Show 2025: Business Spotlight
Eight minutes and twenty-five seconds. 2025.
Produced to recap Pinole’s annual car show, this segment aired on PCTV to give recognition to and promote local run-businesses around the Pinole area. The businesses ran vending stations throughout the event, and I interviewed them in a quiz-show style game to attract viewers.
Eleven minutes and forty-seven seconds. 2025.
Turf is a landscape documentary capturing a night in the life of UC Berkeley’s multi-purpose recreational field, Maxwell Family Field. I wanted to capture how hard-working students build community around this plot of empty space, whether it is band rehearsal, lacrosse practice, or pickup soccer.
